Research work

The Department of Vocational Education and Technologies trains Doctors of Philosophy and Doctors of Science, reviews manuals, monographs.

The department's teachers are active participants in scientific and practical conferences: international and all-Ukrainian.

The department's specialists conduct master classes in decorative and applied arts and creative design, personal exhibitions of student works, and implement design projects.

The department's teachers supervise higher education students who take prizes in the II stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Scientific Paper Competition in the specialty 014 Secondary Education (Technology). In 2019, higher education student Natalia Korzun took 3rd place, in 2020 higher education student Margarita Zakora took 2nd place, in 2021 higher education student Margarita Zakora took 3rd place.

The teachers supervise higher education students in the specialty 014 Secondary Education (Technology), who take prizes in the II stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the specialty "Technological Education". So, in 2015, the student Yuriy Prykhodko took 3rd place (Uman), in 2016 Diana Sychova – 3rd place (Uman), in 2017 Natalia Varvarovska – 3rd place (Uman), in 2018 Andriy Lukyanchykov – took 3rd place (Uman), in 2019, the master's student Olena Dzhansiz – 3rd place (Uman).

Students of the specialty 015.33 Professional Education (Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics) took part in the research of nanostructures within the framework of the grant for the personal project of Yana Sychikova “Nanoart. Science is Art”, which is supported by the European Union under the “House of Europe” program and the state-funded fundamental research “Theoretical and methodological principles of systematic fundamentalization of training future specialists in the field of nanomaterials science for productive professional activity” (state registration number 0121U109426, head – Igor Bogdanov).

The department's teachers also supervise higher education students who, based on THE COMPANY "DEL a.s." together with "VOS a SPS" in Ždyar nad Sázavod (Czech Republic), participate in the international competitions "ROBOTICS IN INDUSTRY". In 2023, higher education student Anna Khatsko took 2nd place at the "Pneumatic Automation" stage, higher education student Oleksandr Medvedenko - 2nd place at the "Electropneumatic Automation" stage, higher education student Artem Piven - 3rd place at the "Electrohydraulics" stage, higher education student Maksym Biezhnan - 3rd place at the "Electropneumatics" stage and higher education student Artem Krat - 3rd place at the "Automation" stage. In the general team standings, our university took 3rd place.

On April 4, 2023, students and postgraduates of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, Computer and Technological Education of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University took part in the All-Ukrainian Student Scientific and Practical Online Conference "Current Problems of Vocational and Technological Education: A Look into the Future". The organizer of the event is the Faculty of Engineering and Pedagogical Education of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.

On October 22, 2023, teachers of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, Computer and Technological Education took an active part in the V National Educational Forum "Education - Energy of the Future", which was held under the slogan "Education. Indestructibility. Together to Victory", organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Transport of the Volodymyr Hnatyuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University.

On November 22, 2023, at a meeting of the one-time specialized academic council DF 015.02_2478 of the Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, the defense of the dissertation research of Oleksenko Karina Borysivna on the topic "Formation of readiness of future primary school teachers to design the educational environment" in the specialty 015 Professional Education (by specialization) (scientific supervisor - Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Olena Kryvylova) took place.

On December 1, 2023, at a meeting of the one-time specialized academic council DF 015.01_2567 of the Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, the defense of the dissertation research of Olga Yuriivna Kurylo on the topic "Preparation of future food industry engineer-teachers for creative professional activity" in the specialty 015 Professional Education (by specialization) (scientific supervisor - Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Olena Kryvylova) took place.
